Handling equipment encompasses every sort of product which helps to move, store and protect materials in settings such as warehouses. This equipment can be found in all sorts of industries including hardware, retail, manufacturing and construction.
These products can be split up into a number of basic categories. Transport equipment is anything that can be used to transfer goods from one place to another, which are things like trucks and cranes. Positioning equipment enables staff to load and unload products safely, such as lifting tables. Unit load formation equipment is used to combine products together so that they can be stored or transported as one: examples of these are pallets and crates. The final type is storage equipment, anything from cages to baskets which are built to contain products for long periods of time.
There are so many different types of industrial handling materials, all with their own uses and benefits. At RentalSpec we create and design everything from pallet trucks, warehouse trolleys and everything in between.
Warehouses house all sorts of goods and equipment, and so the variety of trolleys designed for material handling is almost endless. From A-frame trolleys to safely move glass, to gas cylinder trolleys to securely transport bottles of hazardous substances, we design and create products to make your warehouse team’s work safer, easier and more efficient.Warehouse Trolleys
Industrial trucks and trolleys are designed to do the heavy lifting so that you don’t have to. We make pallet trucks, which are an essential part of day to day life in the warehouse, helping you move heavy or bulky items efficiently. You can also move your goods and stock with our heavy duty platform trolleys, made with hardwearing rubber wheels and anti-friction turntables which enable you to manoeuvre round tight spots and narrow aisles with ease.Industrial Trucks & Trolleys
Stillages work like large cages and can be used to both transport and store goods in your warehouse. Our stillages are usually made of steel and are designed to be stackable to help you maximise your precious space. Our bespoke stillages can also incorporate extra features such as loading ramps, hatches and dividers.Metal Stillages
People often forget about the importance of packing workstations in the manufacturing process. Suitable for all industries and retailers, we design these bench workstations, helping keep their productivity levels high and providing a safe environment for their staff.Packing Benches
Having manual handling systems in place is vital for effective logistics, so it is important for organisations to acquire these products from the right source. Durable, long-lasting products can not only help with the speed at which your team works, but will also keep them safe when handling heavy, bulky or even hazardous loads.

Wiggle is the world’s biggest online fitness retailer, selling products for all sorts of activities including cycling, running, hiking and more. We’ve been working with Wiggle for more than a decade to provide them with fantastic solutions to help their team work safely and efficiently, and ultimately that their customers receive their products in a timely manner. We have created everything from picking trolleys to packing benches, and in 2020 they approached us with a new project.
Wiggle wanted new packing stations for their large warehouse space in Wolverhampton. Their team packs thousands of deliveries every day and so the stations needed to be durable and long-lasting.
Working collaboratively with Wiggle we provided them with working samples for their staff to inspect. These prototypes allowed any practical issues to be addressed and rectified before production began on the final pieces. Wiggle were incredibly pleased with the end result, which allows their team to pack even more efficiently than before.
